On 22 July 2026 I presented Project MOON at the 2026 NASA Exploration Science Forum (NESF) at NASA Ames Research Center, and the same week to the Canadian Space Agency. Project MOON tracked NASA's Artemis II mission from the launch pad to splashdown using only open data: satellite imagery of the ignition, seismic and infrasound sensors for the launch acoustics, and my own robotic telescope (IAU code R60) for the journey to the Moon and back.

At the NESF opening I met Victor Glover, the pilot of Artemis II. I told him I had tracked his spacecraft from launch to the day before splashdown, and he was interested in a poster of the mission as seen from Earth. I hope to share the research with Astronaut Jeremy Hansen, the Canadian on the crew, too.
